Campden BRI Brewing Division offers a range of training courses suitable both for those who are new to the industry as well as those who are more experienced and specialised.

Our courses cover all areas of brewing and malting, as well as basic training in wine faults and analysis. Course booking can carried out directly with the Campden Site. or contact training

All of our courses are run at our site in Nutfield, but the majority are also available to be held on your site and customised to your product range where appropriate.

  • The Introduction to courses are designed for those requiring a basic grounding in various areas of brewing and malting and are suitable for those new to the industry. In addition, our 'Beer Appreciation' and 'Beer is best' courses are suitable as an introduction to the brewing industry and are popular with marketing teams, and those working as supermarket buyers.
  • The 'Advanced' courses are more specialised, and would be appropriate for those on a career track where they intend to take professional qualifications such as the IBD Brewing Diploma.
  • The 'workshops' and 'seminars' are more challenging, and are ideal for those who have to resolve technical issues as a part of their daily work. A background level of knowledge equivalent to the IBD Diploma is recommended for these courses.
